Training & Instruction

Filax provides training and instruction so that teams use exhibits and installations correctly and keep them in good condition permanently.

What to expect.

Our instructions are always customized and tailored to the specific presentation, the type of objects, the system used and the knowledge level of the users. Our offerings include:

  • On-site instruction on delivery or commissioning
  • Training in daily and weekly maintenance of display cases, screens, AV, lighting or climate systems
  • User guides and checklists tailored to your situation
  • Explaining security, preservation and basic failures
  • Workshops for museum staff, volunteers or facilities team
  • Recurrent training or new team instructions when personnel change

Why it works

By involving employees early and properly in the daily management of an exhibition, you prevent unnecessary wear and tear, breakdowns or damage. It also contributes to self-reliance and cost control, while Filax always remains available as a backstop for technical maintenance and intervention.

We believe that sustainable presentations begin with well-informed users.

Part of the overall package

Training and instruction are often part of our broader maintenance approach and are offered as the conclusion of a project, at the start of a maintenance contract or as a stand-alone module. All instructions are also documented so that information remains easily available.
